PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Princeton Health Care Center shared the news last week of a beloved staff member’s passing.

25-year-old Sarah Smith was a resident of the Princeton area and was a loving mother to her 6-year-old daughter. Her compassionate demeanor and charismatic nature were among the Mercer County resident’s most notable qualities according to those closest to her.

“We are heartbroken to announce that we have lost a beloved staff member, Sarah Smith. Sarah was a joy to be around, and her presence is already so missed by our residents and team. There is no doubt her loss is felt by all who knew her,” said Princeton Health Care Center in a statement.

“As devastated as our PHCC family is, we can only imagine the heartbreak those closest to her are feeling. We ask that you please keep her family, friends, and coworkers in your thoughts and prayers during this terribly difficult time.”

Having spent the majority of her life in the Isaban area of the Mountain State, Smith was returned to Isaban on Friday where loved ones gathered to honor her memory and celebrate her life in a service held at the Isaban Church of God.

Smith was adamant about helping those in need even after her passing, as her wish to be an organ a tissue donor was honored and provided much-needed resources to those in need.

LOOTPRESS would like to extend thoughts and prayers to the family and loved ones of this exceptional individual who was far too soon.
