Man arrested for knocking down police officer conducting traffic stop
EWA BEACH, HI (Island News) - A 25-year-old man was arrested and charged after he knocked down a Honolulu Police officer conducting a traffic stop. Police say Kalahikiola Tavares knocked the officer down on Tuesday at about 10:15 in the morning and caused injuries that required him to be taken to the hospital for treatment.
