2 Hurt After SUV Crashes into WNY Urology Building in Cambria

CAMBRIA, NEW YORK - Two people were injured after a Ford SUV crashed into a medical office on Saunders Settlement Road late Friday morning.

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office reports that at around 10:25AM on Friday, the Sheriff's Office Communications Center received multiple calls reporting a vehicle that crashed into WNY Urology at 3850 Saunders Settlement Road in the Town of Cambria.

When NCSO deputies assigned to the Patrol Division arrived on scene, they discovered that a 2023 Ford Escape collided with the front of the medical office building. Deputies interviewed the driver and determined that he thought he had pressed on the brakes while he was pulling into a parking spot, but the vehicle then propelled forward into the building.

The driver and passenger of the Ford Escape were transported to an area hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries. Officials confirmed that no one inside the business was injured.

A small section of a brick wall underneath the windows was damaged, but the business did not have to cease operations, according to the NCSO.

The Town of Cambria Building Inspector responded to the scene and assessed the damage to the building.
