Community raises surgery funds for dog thrown from vehicle in Avon
Community members from in and around Avon rallied to raise at least $6,000 to pay for surgery for a young dog who was thrown from a vehicle this week. Surgery was scheduled for Wednesday for the Lhasa Apso, who suffered a broken pelvis.
Cigna’s health equity fund aims to narrow health care access gap in Hartford
