Youthful Falcons take their lumps in American Legion play
The season is over for the youngest Area 4 team in Oregon’s American Legion AAA division, as the Klamath Falls Falcons missed out on the postseason by one game. Pete Whisler and his staff had to replace 10 players from the 2023 squad — returning just six players with AAA Legion experience — with the youthful team finishing the season 10-27, competing against some of the top programs in the state and beyond.

Klamath County Sheriff searching for missing 40-year-old man
KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. – The Klamath County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help finding a man who was reported missing on Tuesday. According to the police, 40-year-old Paul Flores was last seen in Chemult at the Pilot Travel Center. A vehicle Paul was known to drive was found Friday on a forest road north of Chemult.
