MYRTLE CREEK WOMAN JAILED FOR RESTRAINING ORDER VIOLATION
A Myrtle Creek woman was jailed for a restraining order violation and for a warrant on Tuesday night. A Douglas County Sheriffs Office report said at 7:00 p.m. deputies were called to the 600 block of Bills Road near Myrtle Creek for a disturbance. When they arrived, one party allegedly attempted to lie and hide the suspect from deputies, as they knew she would be going to jail. The 37-year-old was eventually taken into custody. She was detained on $7,000 bail.
ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR PAROLE VIOLATION
Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Wednesday. An RPD report said at 10:50 a.m. officers contacted the 48-year-old after a caller said the man was acting disorderly near the intersection of Southeast Oak Avenue and Southeast Rose Street. The suspect was reportedly intoxicated, which was a violation of his parole. His parole officer wanted him detained and he was taken into custody. The man was detained without bail.
