• BEFORE & AFTER CARE P/T PROGRAM DIRECTOR Extensive experience supervising children in a school or childcare setting preferred.  Qualified applicants for Part-Time Program Director must be over 18 years old; ideally possess a degree within the field of Education, Child Psychology or Social Work; have demonstrated experience in planning and organization of creative daily activities/programs for the before / after school care and overall structure. The Program Director should have experience supervising counselors, sites, and conducting training and ongoing training for counselors; possess superb communication skills to maintain positive flow of information with parents/guardians; must have First Aid and CPR certification and pass fingerprinting background check. The selected applicant is expected to report for duty from the hours of 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM for Before Care and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM for After Care. Reports to the Borough Administrator and Recreation Director, provides regular reports to Mayor, Recreation Director and Recreation Council Chairperson. Must be available part-time to begin working for pre-program preparation upon hire.
  
• BEFORE & AFTER CARE P/T COUNSELORS Experience with assisting in supervising children in a school or childcare setting daily preferred. Qualified applicants for Part-Time Counselors must ensure the children's safety and active participation throughout before / after care activities and act as a role model.  Selected applicants are expected to report for duty from the hours of 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM for Before Care and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM for After Care. Reports to the Program Director, encourages students in constructive participation in all daily activities such as homework help and tutoring.  Must be at least 16 years of age and pass fingerprinting background check.  All Counselors must participate in a two-day training program before the program begins.
