Neshaminy Mall has sold for $27.5 million
Neshaminy Mall has been sold for $27.5 million by Brookfield Properties to a partnership that plans to demolish part of the mall in Bensalem for mixed-use redevelopment. The popular Boscov’s store, AMC movie theater and Barnes & Noble bookstore will remain open, as will the Uno Chicago Grill and On the Border Mexican restaurants in the mall lot, said Maurice Zekaria, CEO of Paramount Realty.
Norristown man admits to gun charge, threats during disturbance with neighbors
NORRISTOWN — A Norristown man admitted to illegally possessing a firearm with which police said he terrorized neighbors during a disturbance outside his residence. Charles Scott, 48, of the 800 block of Arch Street, pleaded guilty in Montgomery County Court to charges of person not to possess a firearm and terroristic threats in connection with a November 2023 incident in the borough.
