    Crews respond to Providence house fire

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Firefighters responded to a house fire that broke out Sunday night on Gentian Avenue in Providence.

    Battalion Chief Douglas Degnan told 12 News that firefighters were called to the scene around 8:21 p.m.

    Degnan said that everyone had gotten out of the home by the time crews arrived.

    Nobody who was in the house sustained any injuries, according to Degnan.

    An investigation into what caused this fire is underway.
