Utah boy, 12, 'starved to death after being locked up at home' as messages reveal horror final days
A 12-year-old boy from Utah was found "starved to death" at his father's home after suffering years of suspected abuse, police say. Gavin Peterson was found dead on July 9 after deputies from the Webster County Sheriff's Office were called to his father's home in West Haven as the boy was "not breathing" and had been "vomiting" for days on end. Gavin was found on the bathroom floor by officers and paramedics who tried to resuscitate him but their efforts were in vain as he later died at hospital.
