Warrant issued for woman accused of exploiting elderly woman out of nearly $52,000
NEWKIRK — A warrant is issued for Tammy Dene Jones, 51, Enid, by the Kay County District Court. Jones is facing felony counts of exploitation of elderly and or disabled adult by deception and intimidation and computer fraud and or unlawful use of a computer system. Ponca City police report that Jones is accused of fraudulently obtaining $51,877.94 from a senior citizen.

AFTON, Okla. – For the first time in three months, Afton city leaders held a town meeting after swearing in their newest board member, Shasta Waggoner. The three-member board voted to convene for an executive session to discuss the employment of a town employee. The board returned 45 minutes and took no action.
