Only children are afflicted with autism. At some point they all grow out of it. I have a friend who treats her little 10 year old autistic son like he's a fkn baby. It's like, quit treating him like he's a snowflake. Let him fall down and scrape his knees. Let him make mistakes so he learns from them. Quit sheltering him from the world. As for "autistic" adults, they simply don't exist because at some point, everyone has to grow up and fend for themselves.
