(COLORADO SPRINGS) — After a hotel in Pueblo was condemned, 38 cats were found in one room and rescued by the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR). After the initial intake, another 30 animals were rescued or surrendered because of displacement.

After bringing the abandoned pets into the shelter, HSPPR reached out to the community, looking for foster parents and forever parents.
