(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) received a report on Monday, June 24, at around 4 p.m., that a windowpane at the Pueblo Republican Party Headquarters had been damaged by “some type of projectile,” prompting a relocation of the election watch party.

According to PPD, the damage occurred sometime between 7 p.m. on Friday, June 21, and 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22. Though the report indicated that the damage had been caused by some type of projectile, no projectile was found on the scene.

PPD reports that the incident is on file as Criminal Mischief-Property Damage and that the damage was estimated to be around $2,000. There are currently no suspects or any additional leads at this time.

According to a Pueblo Republican Party official, the watch party for Stephen Varela, who is running for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, has changed locations to Sunset Bowl, located at 1227 South Prairie Avenue due to safety concerns.
