    Friday, July 5

    Anniversary Gala Celebration at Steel City Art Works

    216 S. Union Ave. | 5-8 p.m. | The gallery will host "Still Here After All These Years - 17th Anniversary Gala," with art exhibits from the cooperative's 40-plus artists and guest author Rebecca Nolting signing her book "Building Your Faith." Artists will be present to talk about their work, serve cake and answer questions. The show will hang all month.

    First Friday Art Walk and Third Eye Carnival at Blo Back Gallery

    131 Spring St. | 5-7 p.m. for art, 7-11 p.m. for carnival | Carnival runs again from 1:30-10 p.m. Saturday, July 6 | Art walk event features the opening of Vincent Fink's "[UN]NATURAL [S]ELECTION" and the third annual Truth Art Exhibit. Art shows run through July 28 and are free of charge. The Third Eye Carnival features alt-media speakers, underground music with 11 bands, local food trucks and a bar by Tipsy Rose.     First Friday "Summerween" Celebration at The Ethos

    615 E. Mesa Ave. | 5-8 p.m. | Get spooky with local, short horror films, spooky vendors and a summer costume contest.

    First Friday Opening Reception at Pueblo Heritage Museum

    201 W. B St. | 5-8 p.m. | Opening reception for the "Time" exhibit featuring the work of Kirk Shiflett. Exhibit runs through July 26.

    Stitch-n-Bitch and Sabotage Trivia at the Ethos

    615 E. Mesa Ave. | 6-9 p.m. for fiber arts event, and 7-9 p.m. for the trivia event | Come stitch with your fellow fiber artists, and bitch about anything that springs to mind. Free monthly social event includes a twining demo. Trivia event has a savage twist. Answer questions, purchase cheats, or sabotage other teams to raise money for Southern Colorado Equality Alliance. Up to five players are allowed per team and cost is $5 per person.

    Mario Kart Tournament 2 and Repair Night at The Ethos

    615 E. Mesa Ave. | 5-8 p.m. for the tournament, 6-9 p.m. for repair night | Heat two of the Mario Kart tourney features switches, spectators and side games. Cost is $10 to compete. Bring your repair projects and tools for the unique community event where capable crafters offer support. All knowledge and expertise is welcome.

    Punk concert at Blo Back Gallery

    The Id Literary Open Mic at The Ethos

    615 E. Mesa Ave. | 6:30-9 p.m. | Poetry, short stories, and folk tales welcome. No music, no hate speech. This is an all-ages event, so keep offerings PG.

    Festival Fridays at Sangre de Cristo Arts Center

    210 N. Santa Fe Ave. | Gates open at 6 p.m. | Carlos and the Boys bring electric jazz music as well as soft rock from the 80's to Festival Fridays. Cost is $8 in advance online at sdc-arts.org or $10 at the gate. Limited chairs are available so participants should bring a chair or blanket. No pets allowed.

    Three Dog Night performs at Pueblo Memorial Hall

    1 City Hall Place | Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show at 7:30 p.m. | The legendary band Three Dog Night, now in its fifth decade, has recorded 20 albums, created 11 top 10 hits and hit the No. 1 spot three times with "Joy to the World," "Mama Told Me Not to Come," and "Black and White." From 1969 to 1974, no other group achieved more top 10 hits, moved more records, or sold more concert tickets than Three Dog Night. This Grammy-nominated band is not content resting on its legacy and releases from this decade have sold more than a million copies. Cost ranges from $29-$109.     Rumble at the Rosemount at Rosemount Museum

    419 W. 14th St. | 9 a.m.-2 p.m. | Visit the Antique and Classic Auto Show, free of charge on the museum grounds. The museum will be open for self-guided tours starting at 10 a.m. Admission to the museum will be half-price at $4 for adults, $3 for seniors, and $2 for children ages 6 to 18.     Sports Cards Show at Pueblo Community College

    900 W. Orman Ave., ballroom | 9 a.m.-4 p.m. | Show to feature trading cards for baseball, football, hockey, basketball, soccer, Star Wars, Pokemon and more.

    Seussical the Musical at Sangre de Cristo Arts Center

    210 N. Santa Fe Ave. | 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and again at 7 p.m. July 15-18 | Pueblo School District 60 and Pueblo Parks and Recreation present the 64th Annual Pueblo Summer Musical: "Seussical the Musical," based on stories from Dr. Seuss children's books.     1000 Shadows performance at Blo Back Gallery

    Pueblo Stamp Club Meeting at Rawlings Library

    100 E. Abriendo Ave., Friends of the Library Meeting Room | 1-3 p.m. | The topics will focus on Canada's first stamp issued in 1851 as well as many other beautiful and most wanted Canadian stamps. The meeting is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Donations of U.S. and foreign stamps for free distribution at club meetings are welcome.

    Heritage Night at Pueblo Heritage Museum

    201 W. B St. | 4:30-6 p.m. | The museum hosts Heritage Night: A Family-Friendly Journey through History focusing on Native Americans, Zebulon Pike and Pueblo's 1921 flood. The event features fun activities, legacy trunks, coloring pages, educational handouts, and little pals activities.
