Friday Feelz with Tensas & The Mourners

(PUEBLO, Colo) — This week’s Friday Feelz artist Tensas & The Mourners brought Rock n’ Roll vibes into the Loving Living Local studio.

Known for bringing their unique sound to the world of music, Tensas and The Mourners are often described as an energetic roots rock band.

Originally from Woodland Park, the trio is now creating a scene in the Pueblo area.

The band just released a new single, House of the Rising Sun on Sunday, June 23. Tensas is the vocal lead and guitarist and Desha plays the drums, trumpet and does vocals. Aloena, 17, plays bass guitar, although she can also be heard playing drums on the upcoming album set to be released later this summer.

The band has a show in Denver on Friday, July 5 at Goosetown Tavern with “Fables of the Fall” along with “The Canary Initiative”.
