    10th annual Rumble at the Rosemount benefits veterans

    (PUEBLO, Colo.) — Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center in Pueblo is holding the 10th annual car show “Rumble at the Rosemount” on Saturday, July 13 to raise money for services for veterans, promote the museum, and foster community engagement.

    The event will be held at the Rosemount Museum the former home of the John A. and Margaret Thatcher family, built in 1893. The car show is free, and entrance to the museum will be discounted during the “Rumble” to $4 for adults and $2 for children ages 6 to 18 years old. Children younger than 6 years old are free. The event will showcase the museum’s interior, Children will also get prizes, free snow cones, and coloring books.

    Mt. Carmel said the event will feature classic and antique cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and motorcycles from across Colorado. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. At noon the “Rumble” will take place where all participants fire up their engines.

    “Mt. Carmel is excited to be part of this event again this year,” said Sal Katz, director of Southern Colorado operations for the nonprofit. “Our goal is to bring [the] community together, help our local veterans, and provide services to their families. This is another way to meet our mission and support our community.”
