(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) is asking for the community’s help to give the dogs in its care some love.

According to HSPPR, there are 300 plus dogs in its care, including Keely, who has been at the Pueblo shelter since June 25. Keely is 11 weeks old and is in prime socialization period so HSPPR is hoping to find her a home as soon as possible.

HSPPR said after a recent post about needing to adopt cats, around 128 have been adopted since Friday, July 12, and are hoping to do the same with the dogs in shelters.
