    Where are they now? A look at 10 more athletes who have recently graduated from Pueblo

    From softball and volleyball to golf and wrestling, many athletes have represented Pueblo at Division I, II and III colleges and junior colleges over the past few years.

    Some have even played professionally in leagues worldwide.

    Here is a look at some more recent graduates from Pueblo high schools who have gone on to play at the college level and how they have fared so far.

    Jordyn Nunez, Pueblo Central, University of Colorado, Colorado Springs

    Nunez is a goalkeeper in lacrosse and appeared in three games for the Mountain Lions this past season against Findlay, Missouri Western State and CSU Pueblo. She made four saves in 30 minutes against Findlay, added one save against MWSU, and two more against the ThunderWolves.

    Kate Gallery, Pueblo West, Fort Lewis College

    Gallery played in all 28 games her sophomore year, starting in 26 of them. She averaged 29 minutes per game and had a breakout season, ranking third on the team with 9.2 points per game. This is following a freshman year in which she played in 22 games, starting in one, and had just under 12 minutes per game.

    Savanah Autobee, Pueblo Central, University of Mount Saint Vincent

    Autobee appeared in 25 games for the Dolphins and made 18 starts. She was batting .233 and had an on-base percentage of .377. She also pitched in 18 games and had a 4.04 ERA in 79.2 innings.

    Tori Cordova, Pueblo West, Colorado State University, Pueblo

    Cordova has spent the last few seasons as part of the Wolfpack squad. She has averaged a .218 batting average over her career and started in a career-high 36 games this past season. She is also great in the field, only committing four errors over her three-year career so far.

    Hannah Simental, Pueblo West, Colorado State University

    Simental has spent the last four seasons playing basketball at the University of Northern Colorado. She was second-team All-Big Sky in 2023-24 after shooting 39% from 3-point range and finishing second on the team in scoring at 12.6 points per game. She just transferred to CSU this season to finish her career with the Rams.

    Jeremiah Sanchez, Pueblo West, Colorado State University, Pueblo

    Sanchez is a career .320 hitter at CSU Pueblo and has started 62 games overall during his freshman and sophomore years with the Pack. He had a career-high in RBIs this season including a game in which he tallied four against Colorado Mesa.

    Jace Bellah, Pueblo South, Colorado State University

    Bellah is a recent graduate of Pueblo South High School and is a sophomore for the Rams of CSU. Bellah plays free safety for the team and has seen limited time on the field. He appeared in three games as a freshman and accrued a solo tackle and assist.

    Xavier Freeman, Pueblo East, Colorado State University, Pueblo

    Freeman has competed in many events for the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves over the past three years since graduating from Pueblo East. His best finish so far in any event has been a first-place finish in the discus throw at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Invitational in which he scored 44.05m on his throw.

    Tarrance Austin, Pueblo South, Murray State College

    Austin had a stellar sophomore season at Murray State where he averaged a career-high 12.7 points per game, including a career-high 27 points this past season against Northern Oklahoma College. He was also an honorable mention for Freshman of the Year.

    Victor Quintana-Antillion, Pueblo Centennial, Trinidad State

    Quintana-Antillion has made an impact right away for Trinidad State. As a freshman, he played in 15 games, starting in 11 of them. He tallied four goals and one assist in his time so far with the Trojans after a successful career at Pueblo Centennial.
