UPDATE: Motorcyclist killed on I-25 in Pueblo identified

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The motorcyclist killed in a crash on I-25 on the north side of Pueblo has been identified by the Pueblo County Coroner.
According to the coroner , 65-year-old Richard A. Ornelas of Pueblo was injured in the crash near Eagleridge Boulevard on southbound I-25 on Thursday afternoon, after his motorcycle and a truck collided. The coroner said Ornelas was taken to the hospital where he ultimately died of his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
Motorcyclist dies after crash on I-25 in Pueblo

A motorcyclist involved in a crash on southbound I-25 on Thursday has died of their injuries, according to the Pueblo Police Department (PPD).
PPD said the crash occurred around 1:21 p.m. on Thursday and involved a truck and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where they died of their injuries. The PPD Traffic Division responded to investigate the crash, though PPD said drugs and alcohol were not considered factors in the crash.
The motorcyclist will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner.
Southbound I-25 reopens after crash on Pueblo’s north side

According to COTrip , the earlier crash on southbound I-25 at Eagleridge Boulevard has been cleared and the interstate reopened. Some slowing is still expected in the area, so drivers should continue to use caution.

Southbound I-25 is closed on the north end of Pueblo on Thursday afternoon, July 25, due to a crash.
According to CO T rip , southbound lanes of I-25 were closed between Exit 102 (Eagleridge Boulevard) and Exit 100B (29th Street) shortly after 2 p.m. due to a crash. FOX21’s crew on the scene reports that the crash involved a motorcycle and a truck.
Heavy delays are expected in the area, and drivers should avoid southbound I-25 near the crash if possible. If you must travel in the area, watch for crews and use caution.
