DRUG SEIZURE AND ARREST AFTER EXECUTION OF SEARCH WARRANT IN PULASKI COUNTY, KENTUCKY
SOMERSET, KY - Sheriff Bobby Jones reports that on Thursday, June 6th, 2024, a Pulaski County man was taken into custody following the execution of a search warrant. The incident began when the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office began receiving complaints stating a male named Tim Buis was trafficking in large quantities of methamphetamine on Louis Waddle Road in Science Hill. The complaint also stated Buis had an active Probation Violation warrant. Detectives began conducting surveillance in the area, gathering enough probable cause to apply for a search warrant for the residence.
KSP Announce Traffic Safety Checkpoints
The Kentucky State Police Post 11 in London, which provides coverage for Clay, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne and Whitley counties, has announced they will be conducting periodic traffic safety checkpoints at various locations. The checkpoints are an effort to enforce traffic laws, especially seatbelt adherence, sobriety, insurance and registration violations.
