PULASKI — A third generation, family−owned grocery store will be sold next month.

Hometown Grocers will become the new owner of Super Ron's Food Center , 960 Brown County B, on Aug. 6. Nicole Milach, operations manager for Hometown Grocers, said the goal is to keep the store focused on employees, the community, and great service.

"Reward programs will stay," she said in an email.

Milach said Hometown Grocers purchases stores from owners in smaller towns throughout Wisconsin to keep local groceries open.

"Employees are kept at each location," she said.

The company currently operates eight stores in Wisconsin, with the first acquisition, Dave's County Market, in Merrill, completed in 2021.

Bryan Ullmer, third-generation owner of Super Ron's, said he was grateful to the community for the 60-plus years of patronage.

"Thank you for all the past support from my grandfather Ron, to my dad John," he said.
