RITZVILLE - In the early hours of July 20, 2024, a dramatic incident unfolded in Ritzville, resulting in the arrest of a local man on multiple charges. At approximately 3:14 AM, Adams County Sheriff dispatch alerted the on-duty Ritzville police officer to a situation in the 200 block of West Second Street. City of Spokane expanding cooling options again this weekend
SPOKANE, Wash. – The City of Spokane is expanding cooling options again this weekend. According to the city, Spokane Public Libraries and the Trent Resource and Assistance Center will both be open during the day. The Shadle Park library will remain open until 7 p.m. Saturday and the Liberty Park, Indian Trail and Central Libraries remain open to 7 p.m. Sunday.

National Lentil Festival Parade Route Changed With Main Street Closed In Downtown Pullman
The route for next month’s National Lentil Festival Parade in Pullman has been changed since Main Street downtown is closed this summer for reconstruction. The parade will run on Riverview Street from Benewah Street near the playfields to Lentil Lane near Reaney Park. The parade will begin at 11:00 on Saturday August 17th during Lentil Fest.
