Body of missing waterman recovered in Somerset Co.
SOMERSET CO., Md. – Maryland Natural Resources Police say they have recovered the body of a missing waterman near Deal Island. The man has been identified as 58-year-old Ted Briddelle of Princess Anne. Maryland NRP officers recovered Briddelle’s body at around 4 p.m. Thursday near the shoreline of a private residence just over two miles from his last known location.

NORFOLK, Va. — Police are looking for the suspects who were involved in a shooting in Norfolk that sent a 13-year-old girl to the hospital. The Norfolk Police Department said the shooting happened around 8:40 p.m. Friday on West 26th Street, just off of Hampton Boulevard and near Lambert's Point.

Toys”R”Us continues to expand in brick-and-mortar via partnerships. WHP Global, which acquired the toy chain in 2021, has signed a license agreement with the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) to open Toys"R"Us shop-in-shops in NEX stores. The shops will launch this fall, starting at NEX Oceana in Virginia Beach, Va., followed by a second location at the NEX in Jacksonville, Fla. Additional stores will follow in 2025.
