PUNTA GORDA — Fishermen's Village is on the market for sale through Sept. 2.

The property, previously operated by Jonathan Larmore, was court-ordered away from his control.

In October, courts assigned management, operate and selling of the commercial property to a receivership of PGFL Associates and SVN Commercial Partners.

Some selling points used for buyers is it's a key attraction for locals and tourists offers shopping, dining and entertainment.

Fishermen's Village has a marina, boutique shops, restaurants and waterfront hotel suites.

"Its strategic location and comprehensive amenities make it a unique investment opportunity in the thriving Southwest Florida marketplace," Ashley Bloom, a managing partner with SVN Commercial Partners told The Daily Sun. "It is set to attract significant interest from investors and developers alike."

The marketing company sent 80 nondisclosure agreements and received 35 executed documents back. The company is reviewing offers.

"The sale of Fishermen’s Village represents a fresh chapter for this beloved waterfront destination," Bloom stated. "Prospective buyers have the opportunity to build upon its established reputation and diverse offerings, driving further growth and innovation in the region. We are encouraged by the response we have received to date."

Throughout the receivership, it's been business as usual for shop owners at Fishermen's Village. They continue to have sales, events and live entertainment to attract shoppers, according to Patti Allen, Fishermen's Village general manager.

"We have certainly experienced another great season full of our wonderful visitors from the north," Allen said. "Business continues to be strong and typical for this time of year. As we move out of our season we look forward to events like the eighth annual Tiki Fest."

Tiki Fest is noon to 6 p.m. on Aug. 3 with island music/dance in locations throughout Fishermen's Village. Exhibits include food, art and live entertainers from Hawaiian the Hula Connection of Southwest Florida, the AAPI Community Dance Troupe, Maritza Cedeno, Hawaiian Melodies, Aloha Nui hula dancers and Napua Polynesian. Admission and parking is free.
