    All-clear given after Purcell train evacuated, bomb squad responds

    According to the McClain County Sheriff’s Office, the area has been cleared and operations are returning to normal.

    PURCELL, Okla. ( KFOR ) – According to the McClain County Sheriff’s Office, a train at the Purcell Amtrak station has been evacuated.

    Officials say all passengers made it off of the train safely and have been moved to another location.

    It is unknown why the train has been stopped, but the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s Bomb Squad is responding.
