Paul Mueller Co., a stainless steel manufacturing company, announced a $22 million expansion expected to create 133 jobs at its home site in Springfield. The 100,000-square-foot facility is set to open next year a little more than a mile away from downtown Springfield. The facility will include 60,000 square feet of climate-controlled production space, according to a news release. It also will double the footprint Mueller devotes to research and development.

NEOSHO, Mo. — A big-time fundraising goal has been reached in Neosho — and Tuesday it got some big-time help getting there. Representatives from the La-Z-Boy Foundation presented a check for $150,000 to the Neosho Freeman Family YMCA.
