No matter how far in advance I try to prepare, it's always the same old sitch: Somewhere at around 5 a.m. on any given travel day , I find myself scrambling to throw on an outfit that will be comfy enough for a cramped airplane seat—but not too hot, too cold, or so unstylish that I can't wear it to grab a bite right after my plane lands. Now, I've at least got the bottom half of my travel look covered for all foreseeable flights and road trips . Enter: the Vuori Villa Cargo joggers ($118).

The pants are made from a super lightweight polyester fabric that's partially recycled (and wrinkle-resistant!), with tons of stretch to keep them feeling comfy on even the longest days. They're also designed to have a relaxed cut that doesn't feel restricting at all. As for their length, the joggers have a 26-inch inseam, which hit right at the ankles for me—I am definitely on the short side at 5-foot-2, however, so they'll be a bit more cropped if you're taller.

My Experience Traveling in the Vuori Villa Joggers

So what was it like actually wearing the Villa joggers on a travel day? Honestly, I can't say enough good things about them. The lightweight fabric was perfect for keeping skin covered and protected on germ-y seats and surfaces, but didn't leave me sweating as I rushed through the TSA line. I also loved that there are both deep side pockets and side cargo ones, which have a convenient flap at the top to keep anything inside secure. The real standout for me, though, is the wide, stretchy waistband. It never felt like it was digging in or falling down, so I didn't have to adjust the joggers while I was juggling my luggage.

And while I love these pants for travel, they're also stylish enough to wear out running errands or to grab a coffee on the weekend. So, yeah, it's safe to say I'd recommend these joggers for anyone looking for a light, comfy pair that you'll get plenty of use out of, whether you're jetting off on vacation or just going out to walk the dog.
