Target's fashion has been remarkable lately, and when I found this striped, button-down cardigan , it instantly reminded me of something Kate Middleton would wear. We know the Princess is no stranger to sporting stripes , and this elegant one by A New Day is only $35.

This cardigan has a woven texture that looks like Chanel's iconic tweed designs. Plus, the stripes make it casual enough to wear with a pair of jeans. It comes in four colors, and each is adorned with the same gold buttons down the front.

According to customer photos and reviews, it has a looser fit around the bodice and is slightly cropped to sit right at your waist. The recycled polyester sweater has two front pockets and ribbed trim, too.

Middleton's style can be described as sleek, approachable and put together, and I've definitely seen her in similar styles. She wore this jacket by Self-Portrait last summer, with a comparable textured aesthetic and button-down front, only in a more elevated, dressy design.
