Kate Middleton Stuns in a Dreamy Floral Dress While Announcing End of Chemo Treatment in Heartfelt Video

Kate Middleton , 42, has finished her chemotherapy treatment and made the announcement on social media by sharing a moving three-minute long video featuring her husband, Prince William and three children, Prince George , 11, Princess Charlotte , 9, and Prince Louis , 6. Middleton originally announced her diagnosis in March.

In the video, the royal says: "As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment. The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown."

Throughout the footage, the princess appears to be wearing a white and black floral dress from Veronica Beard while walking through the Norfolk countryside with her family. Called the Castella, the dress has a relaxed fit and slightly bohemian vibe with a ruffled hemline and button fastenings.

The earthy dress fits in perfectly with the natural setting, as we see Middleton walk through fields and forests with her brood. Interestingly, the American designer Veronica Beard has been a fashion favorite of another royal recently—Meghan Markle. During her August tour of Colombia, the duchess donned a navy (and sleeveless) suit jacket ($598) paired with a matching pair of cropped pants ($448), both from Veronica Beard. Per The Mirror , Markle also wore the same designer in 2018 when she made an appearance at Tupou College in Nuku’alofa Tong.

In the video, the royal also shared that she is looking forward to resuming some of her royal duties: "I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can. Despite all that has gone before, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life."
