Prince Harry Makes Extremely Rare Comments About His Kids Just Days Before Milestone Birthday

Prince Harry is officially the big 4-0, and it's honestly hard to believe. The Duke of Sussex has packed a lot into his life so far and as he hits this milestone birthday, he's busier than ever.

Between juggling his non-profit Archewell Foundation (which he co-founded with his wife Meghan Markle ) and a string of entertainment projects —including a new Netflix documentary set to drop in December that dives into his love for polo—Harry’s plate is full.

But despite all that, being a dad still takes top priority for him. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex share two children: Prince Archie , 5, and Princess Lilibet , 3. Reflecting on his birthday, Harry got sentimental, revealing what his favorite gift has been through the years.

"The best gift I've ever been given is, without doubt, my kids," he told People via a spokesperson. "I enjoy watching them grow every single day and love being their dad."

And it shows in his birthday plans. The family-of-four are set to spend the day together followed by some celebrations with close friends, as reported by the outlet.

Even though Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are growing up out of the public eye, Prince Harry and Markle have shared glimpses into their children's lives.

Just last month, the Suits alum opened up about raising Lilibet during a panel in Colombia . She chatted about how she's encouraging her daughter to speak up for herself, a value passed down from her own mom, Doria Ragland .

Markle also gave a little shout-out to Archie during their visit to a public school in Colombia. While chatting with some kindergartners, she couldn’t help but point out, “You’re the same age as my son, Archie.”
