Laverne Cox Stuns in a Vintage Black & Gold Gown on 76th Annual Emmys Red Carpet

Laverne Cox is one of the first to walk the red carpet at the 76th Annual Emmy Awards , and she's starting the night out strong. The actress and host of Live from E! red carpet is stunning in a vintage Alexander McQueen black and gold gown that I believe will be a standout look tonight.

Cox is rocking a satin dress with striking golden decals, including a ferocious tiger. She added a gold choker that drapes nicely down to her gown, along with a large velvety sash that truly complements her look. The Uglies star also sported a dark brown lip, shimmer lids and loose waves.

Over the last few years, I've noticed Cox has made black and gold her staple color combination. During this year's Oscars , the 51-year-old actress wore a gold and black Mugler gown with a black neck sash that doubled as a flowing cape.

At the last Emmys , the star opted for a vintage 1989 Thierry Mugler Contour gown. (Though Cox often sports Mugler, it looks like she's trying something new tonight with McQueen.) Either way, she loves her vintage outfits and I'm digging it.
