When it comes to fashion inspiration, my immediate go-to is the British royal family. From Kate Middleton's chic hats to Meghan Markle's easy monochrome ensembles , it's impossible to make a faux pas if I'm trying to emulate their classic silhouettes. The other thing I love about them? They, like the rest of us, are outfit repeaters. The latest example? Sarah Ferguson was seen attending Climate Week in New York City, sporting a beloved pair of black boots. They're none other than her Geox boots with a shiny gold heel from the brand's 2019 Respira holiday collection.

On September 25, Fergie shared a clip to Instagram (shown above), where she participated in various Climate Week activities, including sitting on panels, joining roundtable discussions and even sampling a New York hot dog. (It is a rite of passage.)

"I have the pleasure of being in New York for this year's Climate Week and want to bring you behind the scenes!," she writes in the caption. "It was so inspiring to meet so many motivated young people who are looking to make the future a much more positive place to be. Can't wait for day 2!"

Her Victorian-inspired lace-up boots added a fun metallic twist to her outfit, which consisted of a blue velvet blazer, knee-length black skirt and a colorful blouse, which received plenty of compliments in its own right. The duchess posted a second video a day later, in which she sported the same shoes, this time styled with a black-and-white-checkered skirt suit.

While this style is sadly no longer in stock, I've found three similar pairs I'm sure Fergie would approve of, ranging from $57 to $1,700. And all I can say is, props to the royals for practicing underconsumption core . Hopefully, we'll see these boots in many outings to come.
