The iconic duo reunited on Tuesday, October 8, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Speed at a special screening of the film, part of Beyond Fest at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles. Reeves, 60, and Bullock, 60, looked as effortlessly chic as ever, stepping out in coordinating all-black ensembles. Bullock stunned in a black floor-length dress with a subtle slit and black blazer, while Reeves rocked an all-black suit and t-shirt combo.
However, it's not their fashion choices that I can't stop thinking about. It's how these two barely seem to have aged a day .

Aside from a few gray hairs in The Matrix star's beard, the pair still look like the action heroes who first won over fans in the ‘90s. It’s like no time has passed since Speed had viewers glued to their seats in 1994.
For a refresher, Speed , directed by Jan de Bont, was the action thriller of its time. The plot? A city bus is rigged by a madman (Dennis Hopper) to explode if it drops below 50 mph. Reeves, playing LAPD officer Jack Traven, has to stop it, and Bullock, portraying an unassuming passenger, ends up taking the wheel (literally) in this wild, high-speed mission.
The film didn’t just capture hearts—it also snagged some serious hardware, winning two Oscars (Best Sound Effects Editing and Best Sound) at the 67th Academy Awards . Over in the U.K., it picked up Best Sound and Best Editing at the British Academy Film Awards. Speed was such a hit, they even made a sequel in 1997—though, let’s just say Speed 2: Cruise Control didn’t exactly live up to the original according to critics (but hey, you can still stream both on Starz if you’re feeling nostalgic).

At the Beyond Fest event, Reeves, Bullock and de Bont reminisced about making the iconic flick.
“We knew we were doing something wacky,” Reeves said, according to People . And, Bullock, who was still a fresh face in Hollywood at the time, joked, “I was behind the wheel of a projectile, so I was just happy to be alive at the end of the day.”
Director de Bont credited the movie’s success to the dynamic duo at its core, saying, “I have never been so proud of those two actors, what they did for me and quite often unnatural to them.”
Whether you’re a Speed superfan or just down for some major ‘90s nostalgia , this reunion is everything. Now, who’s up for a rewatch?
