Princess Eugenie Drops Never-Before-Seen Pics in Emotional Birthday Tribute to Mom Sarah Ferguson

In case you missed it, October 15 was Sarah Ferguson ’s birthday, and her youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie , celebrated with the sweetest tribute—and some never-before-seen photos to go with it.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful mumma,” Princess Eugenie captioned the Instagram post. “So proud of the Grannie you are, the mum you are, and the woman you are. You’re an inspiration and our endless chats bring me so much happiness and incredible support. @sarahferguson15.”

The birthday post came with a six-photo carousel, with the first two images showing the Duchess of York , aka Fergie, in full grandma mode. Fergie appears to be out in the garden with Eugenie’s youngest son, Ernest , 1, squatting down to his level (a parenting trick we’ve seen royals like Kate Middleton , Prince William , Prince Harry and Meghan Markle use to connect with kids). Eugenie, 34, shares Ernest and her 3-year-old son, August , with husband Jack Brooksbank .

Next up in the montage: two shots of Fergie all dolled-up, a previously unseen selfie of her with Eugenie and an undated throwback of the duchess with both her of daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice (whom she shares with ex-husband Prince Andrew ).

Lately, Princess Eugenie has been all about celebrating her family's special moments on social media. Just earlier this month, the royal family announced that her sister, Princess Beatrice, 36, and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi , are expecting their second child together. Beatrice and Edo already have Sienna, 3, and Wolfie, 8, from his previous relationship.

Eugenie didn’t miss a beat and, shortly after the reveal, she hopped on Instagram to send her love to Beatrice .

"Congratulations Beabea… So looking forward to more on this journey of motherhood together. And adding another little one to the gang,” she wrote alongside a cute family snap.
