Need I remind you, we’re in peak fall, which means there’s an influx of fall trends , like boho fashion , bitty bangs and fabulous accessories . I was recently brushing up on the top fall shoe trends , and was more than pleased to discover the rise of the burgundy shoe. And it makes sense, especially since TikTok deemed cherry red the “It” color of fall . Naturally, I had to do some digging for the best styles. Here are 14 burgundy shoes to shop, including suede pumps that look like the pair Kate Middleton wore and towering boots that have Taylor Swift written all over them.

    1. Everlane The Day Glove Suede Flats

    Everlane

First things first, it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t include a suede number in this list—after all, it is the must-have fabric of the season. The Day Glove flats are known for their box-to-pavement wearability, and that’s because the shoes have an extra insole cushioning for ample comfort, plus a back pull tab and side vents. In other words, they really thought about all the nitty-gritty details when constructing these flats. Per the brand, you might want to consider going up half a size, especially if you have wide feet. However, many customers find their normal size to fit just right, like one buyer who says, “The leather is so soft, and [the shoes are] comfortable right out of the box.”

    2. Feethit Slip-On Running Shoes

    Amazon

Whether you’re an avid runner or simply need to upgrade your comfiest sneakers , these slip-on running shoes from Feethit are a real winner. They’re made with a lightweight and breathable mesh upper that provides ventilation for your feet from mile one to mile ten. As for support, there are comfy (removable) insole liners to give you that soft step and a slip-resistant outsole. They also have more than 5,700 5-star Amazon reviews, so if that doesn’t tell you how great they are, then I don’t know what will. “The durability and comfort of these shoes are amazing,” writes one buyer. “[They’re] so comfortable and [have] prefect arch support on my feet. I originally bought these shoes to travel overseas…and fell in love with them, and after a year I still go for them.”

    3. Vagabond Shoemakers Vendela Leather Boots

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=21lBVG_0w9LUbcX00

    Anthropologie

If you love the look of the boots Taylor Swift wore to the Chiefs game but want something a little more understated, then you’ll adore these leather Vagabond booties. PureWow Fashion Editor Abby Hepworth owns a pair of boots from the brand and couldn’t love them more. “They’re very comfortable and really good quality,” she tells me, adding that they last forever. I’m someone who adores the look of a heel but yearns for comfort above anything else, so the 2.75-inch heel height is a godsend when it comes to walkability.

    $220 at Anthropologie

    4. Zara Leather Cowboy Ankle Boots

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1WZNuN_0w9LUbcX00

    Zara

OK, I can’t be the only one doing a double take on these stunners. If you’ve been basking in the Cowboy Core fashion of this past summer, then here’s a pair of cowboy boots appropriate for fall. They’re finished in a luxurious leather that comes in the richest burgundy shade that’ll look fantastic peeking out from under a pair of jeans or paired with tights and a skirt. And the Western details—like the pull tabs, top stitching and angular heels—really make these such a unique option.

    $159 at Zara

    5. Hunter Original Short Gloss Rain Boots

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=3u2AKv_0w9LUbcX00

    DSW

I know we’re all pining over the most talked about fall fashion trends , but I can’t seem to get over the return of the Hunter boots trend for a few reasons. I mean, the rubber shoes are waterproof, lightly padded and beloved by royals . (Enough said.) I recently received a pair of the cult-favorite rainboots and can attest that they’re comfortable, true to size and darn cute. Seriously, this glossy number looks good enough to take a bite out of.

    $150 at DSW

    6. Frankie4 Coco Chestnut Slingback Heels

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0MXm7a_0w9LUbcX00

    Frankie4

If you’re in the market for comfortable heels , allow me to introduce you to these slingbacks. Designed by a podiatrist, they boast a contoured and molded LuxaLite footbed that provides a dual-layered, targeted cushioning with each step, impressive arch support and adjustable straps for a perfect fit—I think you can imagine how great they feel on your feet. “This gorgeous heel is so comfortable and just the right height,” raves buyer Jaqueline S. “I have trouble wearing higher heels, but I can get though the whole day without any pain wearing these.”

    $198 at Frankie4

    7. Adidas Originals Gazelle Indoor Sneakers

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2OWHOC_0w9LUbcX00

    ASOS

While everyone’s obsessing over the Adidas Sambas , you’ll be rocking the Gazelles, a low-profile design with a similar gum sole and the same signature Adidas branding that everyone loves. ICYDK, in 2024, people are storing their white sneakers for the time being in favor of colorful shoes, and this burgundy and pink combination is ideal. Oh, and that suede fabric? Well, that’s just kismet.

    $120 at ASOS

    8. Jeffrey Campbell Arabella Heels

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0FITrV_0w9LUbcX00

    Free People

“The second I saw these heels I had to have them,” says a Free People customer. The Arabella heels are proof that kitten heels can be sleek, sophisticated and stylish. From the soft suede to the grommet details and the dainty bow appliqué, what’s not to love? “They're the cutest kitten heel mule I've ever seen,” the reviewer adds. “It's comfortable, the color is slightly darker than what's pictured and the toe is super pointy. It’s one of my favorite pairs of shoes in my closet!” One thing to note: Some buyers find that the sizing can vary, so I suggest referring to the size chart before placing your order, especially if you plan to wear them with socks in the winter.

    $168 at Free People

    9. Inez Belen Leather Boots

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=3NPQVY_0w9LUbcX00

    Inez

Knee-high boots are my forte, and Inez makes some of the most comfortable pull-on boots I’ve ever worn. You see, they include arch support and a leather sole that features a non-slip rubber insert that’ll seriously make your feet sigh in relief. What’s really cool is that the leather shaft can be worn high or pushed down for a slouchy look, and the two-inch heel height is *chef’s kiss.*

    $498 at Inez

    10. Chinese Laundry Liinda Slide Sandals

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=19RRDw_0w9LUbcX00

    Nordstrom

Got a wedding or baby shower on the agenda? Try wearing these heeled sandals. They have a low block heel that makes walking a breeze, but don’t just take my word for it. One buyer says, “This shoe is extremely comfortable because of the padding. My foot is wider in the front compared to the heel area so I wasn't sure if this would be comfortable, but it was. The band is not restrictive. If you have narrow feet, this might be loose for you.” On that note, some reviewers note an inconsistency with sizing and comfortability.

    $80 at Nordstrom

    11. Madewell The Grayson Penny Leather Loafers

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=3HCPNn_0w9LUbcX00

    Madewell

Classic meets modern with these croc-stamped leather loafers from Madewell. “The LOOK of this stamp feature is gorgeous to my eyes,” says one customer. “[I] wasn’t sure if I’d love these due to my lack of desire for rounded toes, but the stamping overrides that. [I] didn’t have to break these in and wasn’t in pain during my first day of wear.” Style them with some chunky socks and you’re good to go.

    $178 at Madewell

    12. Margaux The Heel

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0CE7xm_0w9LUbcX00

    Margaux

On your feet all day? Boy, do I have a pair of heels for you. These elegant pumps by Margaux are made to be worn for hours at a time. They have a sturdy 2.5-inch block heel and plush foam padding to ensure a cushioned step. Even better, the structure of the shoe is designed to mold to your foot over time, basically acting as a shoe that’s solely (get it?) designed for you. There are also three widths to choose from (medium, narrow and wide), which can help you avoid extra space or, on the contrary, no wiggle room.

    $295 at Margaux

    13. DKNY Senni Chelsea Lug Boots

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1Axh41_0w9LUbcX00

    Macy’s

Chelsea boots are honestly some of the coolest shoes around. Add a lug sole and not only are you dripping in style, but you’re also getting functionality. That’s right, the chunky platforms add so much traction and stability to the shoe, which will be great come winter. And while they may seam hard to get on and take off because of the pull-on design, there is a pull tab at the back and flexible gores at either side that’ll make it a touch easier.

    $150 ; $89 at Macy’s

    14. Mango Crocodrile Kitten Heels

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2rbob5_0w9LUbcX00

    Mango

Timeless, sleek and sophisticated are just a few words to describe the perfect pair slingbacks, and it just so happens that this style from Mango checks off all of those boxes. Just when you thought the burgundy shade was enough to make you swoon, the brand wows you with the faux-croc finish. I have a feeling you’ll hold on to these heels for years.

    $70 at Mango
