Ottawa teen selling lemonade to support Putnam Co. Sheriff's Office
One Putnam County teenager is looking to help support his local sheriff's office through a lemonade stand. Ottawa-Glandorf freshman Chase Maag and friends teamed up to sell the lemonade and cookies to help raise money to support the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. This is not the first time that Maag has made lemonade for a good cause; last year, his stand was set up in support of a family member to help pay for her cancer treatments. He was able to raise $3,000.

Man charged with fatal shooting at Putnam County business found competent to stand trial
PUTNAM COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A Lima man charged with a fatal shooting at a Putnam County trucking company has been found competent to stand trial. 26-year-old Konner Dunklee pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity on the charges of aggravated murder, murder, attempting to commit murder, felonious assault, and assault. Tax deadline is fast approaching reminds Putnam County Treasurer
PUTNAM COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The Putnam County treasurer wants to remind property owners that their tax deadline is fast approaching. Taxes are due July 19th, and people can pay them at the treasurer's office in the courthouse, located at 245 E Main St #203, Ottawa, OH 45875, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Thursday or Friday. Or people can put their payment in a drop box in an alley off Hickory Street. If you are mailing your check, it needs to be postmarked by July 19th for it not to be considered late. And if you own a manufactured home, your final payment date is July 31st.
