    Putnam common pleas

    Jason Burleson, 41, Ottawa, appeared for sentencing on two counts of aggravated assault, each a fourth-degree felony. He was placed on community control for five years with conditions, including that he serve 90 days in Putnam County Jail with credit for three days previously served. Two counts of felonious assault, each a second-degree felony, were dismissed. The indictment had alleged that he assaulted and caused serious physical harm to a man and a woman during a dispute at 107 W. Main St. in Kalida on Oct. 2.

    Victor Lomeli, 46, Leipsic, appeared for sentencing on a charge of domestic violence, a third-degree felony. He was placed on community control for five years with conditions, including that he complete recommended counseling and treatment. A charge of felonious assault, a second-degree felony, was dismissed.

    Kayla Price, 34, Napoleon, appeared for sentencing on charges of failure to appear, a fourth-degree felony; identity fraud, a fifth-degree felony; and attempted possession of drugs (cocaine). She was placed on community control for five years with conditions, including that she serve 90 days in Putnam County Jail with credit for 82 days served in jail while her case was pending, and complete the W.O.R.T.H. Center program, if accepted. A charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony, was dismissed.
