Marine Corps Heritage Foundation Unveils Semper Fidelis Memorial Park Expansion
The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation celebrated the official opening of the expanded Semper Fidelis Memorial Park and the new Semper Fidelis Memorial Pavilion with a ceremony on May 17. Adjoining the National Museum of the Marine Corps, one of Virginia’s most celebrated tourist destinations, the park expansion provides 22 new sites for memorials and monuments dedicated to honoring the Marines of yesterday and today.

Created in Taiwan in the early 1980s, bubble tea is one of the most popular and “Instagrammable” beverage trends in the world right now. “Bubble Tea is comparable to the various Iced Coffees and Fruit Smoothies we see everywhere these days,” said Victoria Wu of Cakes By Happy Eatery. “Just like those drinks, there are dozens of flavors, combinations and variations with a specific ‘bubble” treat on the bottom of the cup. Tracking Salt Runoff Events Under the Water Quality Monitoring Program
Provided by Prince William Soil & Water Conservation District. The Prince William Soil and Water Conservation District’s Water Quality Monitoring Program collects monthly chemical readings from streams and waterbodies in Prince William County and its towns and cities. This program uses the Professional YSI Pro DSS Probe, which includes conductivity, an indicator of dissolved salts.
