Time is precious and you, unfortunately, can't be in both places at the same time.</p><p>Lucky we're friends. I have pictures of the 15 best right here for you.</p><p>Not to discount any of the creations, because honestly, they were all amazing, but these just caught my eye the most.</p><p>Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to spend a lovely time in Bristol, Maine, with my long-time friend, Susan. Lucky for me, the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest &amp; Regatta was going on that weekend.</p><p>The crowds were ridiculously crowded all weekend long, meaning, you had to fight for a look at all the pumpkins. The weather was absolutely perfect for this event, so we should have known that going on.</p><p>We were all struck by the amazing creativity, curiosity and talent that went into these pumpkins.</p><p>We saw the entire story of the Wizard of Oz in not one, but two sculptures. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Charlotte's Web were also represented.</p><p>The pumpkins are only some of the fun on this weekend. There is a whole lot more going on in Damariscotta for this weekend every year. There are pie-eating competitions for kids and adults, parades, and my favorite part of the weekend, the <a href="https://www.mainepumpkinfest.com/regatta">Pumpkin Regatta,</a> where real pumpkins become boats and relay race in the Damariscotta River.</p><p>The boats are decorated in creative themes, and it is the highlight of the weekend.
