Davenport Veteran’s Memorial Park Dedication Ceremony Thursday
The finishing touches are underway on Davenport’s Veterans Memorial Park for Thursday’s dedication ceremony. Davenport West High School Art teacher, David Schaeffer, painted a 40-foot mural honoring America’s veterans that will be on display in the park. Davenport West High School Industrial Technology teacher, Andy Zinn, designed the structure that holds the painting and had his students build it.
