Davenport’s Sudlow Wins National Yearbook Award
Congratulations to the Davenport Sudlow yearbook staff for receiving a third-place finish at the 2022 Lifetouch National School Studios Yearbook Showcase Contest!. The publications were sorted into four divisions: high schools with more than 1,000 students enrolled, high schools with fewer than 1,000 students enrolled, middle schools/junior high schools, and elementary schools.
Illinois Congressman Sorensen Announces Millions to Tackle Polluted Brownfield Sites
Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) joined the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to announce $4,057,730 in grants to revitalize contaminated sites in Northwestern Illinois. “Too many communities in Central and Northwestern Illinois struggle with pollution and other environmental challenges from decades ago,” said Sorensen. “I’m thrilled to join the Environmental Protection Agency to announce over $4 million to revitalize burdened areas and set them up for economic success.
