Drew Eubanks addresses 'mutual split' with Phoenix Suns, signing with Utah Jazz
Drew Eubanks cleared the air on his departure from the Phoenix Suns after one season and decision to join the Utah Jazz in free agency. “The interest was always there for me to return (to Phoenix),” Eubanks said. “The notion of it being a ‘mutual split’ is just factually false. There were a lot of conversations about me coming back this next year from the moment the season ended and into free agency. At the end of the day, there were other opportunities and I had to make the best decision for myself and my family. Loved my year in Phoenix.”

Tempe OKs Negotiations for 7.2-acre Redevelopment Site
The Tempe City Council last month authorized negotiations to buy a 7.2-acre property at the SEC of Scottsdale and McKellips road for future redevelopment. Plans for the redevelopment of Food City Plaza call for a minimum of 50 affordable housing units, a modern grocery store and a police station and training facility. The center was built in 1977 and currently has approximately 80KSF of leasable space.

Strategic wildfire risk reduction is underway in the Williamson Valley, with the Department of Forestry and Fire Management (DFFM) spearheading initiatives to keep communities safe from the threat of catastrophic wildfires. The Granite Oaks project, a 263-acre effort, began the week of August 12 and is situated roughly 9 miles northwest of Prescott, near the community of Williamson in Yavapai County. On the agenda is the strategic removal of hazardous fuels on State Trust land, key for community protection. The project's aim is to interrupt the spread of fires and make suppression more manageable by employing heavy-duty masticators to break down and chip vegetation.
