CHARLOTTE ( CHARLOTTE SPORTS LIVE ) — On Thursday, it wasn’t just black and blue on the practice field for the Panthers — there was a mix of green as well — along with a future hall of famer. The Jets and Aaron Rodgers were in town for joint practice ahead of their pre-season matchup on Saturday night.

These joint practices can definitely be on the physical side. Charlotte Sports Live observed a couple of players go down with injuries on Thursday.

Chandler Zavala went in early with a hamstring. Robert Hunt had a bit of a knee scare but came back out at practice, and Chuba Hubbard went down holding his knee — but coach Dave Canales said initial testing there looks good.

It was definitely a more physical practice — and spirited — CSL saw a couple of dust-ups between the two teams. One came from WR Terrace Marshall Jr. who had a great catch in the end zone but then flipped the ball to the defender D.J. Reed who did not appreciate the gesture.

Coach Canales addressed the moment after practice.
