    CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The 2024 school year is here and Queen City News’ sat down with local education leaders to cover a variety of topics.

    The panel included Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Superintendent Dr. Crystal Hill, South Carolina Education Association President Sherry East, mental health counselor Dr. Charryse Johnson, Providence Day head football coach Chad Grier, and student advisor with CMS Ailen De Bonis.

    The panel, led by anchors Jason Harper and Annie Szatkowski, covered a range of topics including artificial intelligence, life after high school graduation, and mental health.
