(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good evening and happy Sunday Funday! It was another beautiful albeit slightly warmer day across the Carolinas today. As we head into the new week our dry weather will for the most part continue, but temperatures will be getting much hotter with highs likely pushing into the mid-90s by the middle of the week. Our next chance for wet weather will likely not come until we get to the end of the week.

As for tonight and your Monday, mostly clear skies are expected overnight with lows down in the low 60s. Monday we are tracking more sunshine along with temperatures that will continue to get slightly warmer with highs likely pushing back up towards the low 90s, but the humidity will continue to stay under control.

The middle of the week looks to really bring back the scorching temperatures to the Carolinas as high push back up into the mid-90s along with rising humidity for the region. Heat Advisories are looking increasingly possible once we to Wednesday and Thursday thanks to a combination of high heat and humidity for the Carolinas.

Wet weather will finally make a return to the forecast thanks to a cold front on the way for the end of the week and heading into the weekend. In the meantime, get ready for some hot and dry weather this week! Have a great week!
