    Alexander County man missing for over 3 weeks: Sheriff

    ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a man who has been missing for more than three weeks.

    Jeffrey Beach Laxton, 59, was last seen in Caldwell County on August 5, 2024, near the Caldwell Memorial Hospital.

    Deputies said he’s possibly driving a white 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe with the tag: KEB-6300.

    Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 828-632-1111 or Crime Stoppers at 828-632-8555.
