Juvenile killed, four others seriously hurt in south Charlotte crash: CMPD

CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A juvenile has been killed and four others are injured following a crash in south Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Around 12 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the 4000 block of Sharon View Road to reports of a crash.

Medic said they transported five people to local hospitals, two had life-threatening injuries and three had serious injuries. CMPD said one of those injured was a juvenile who died at the hospital.

Sharon View Road from Chadwick Place to Beckford Drive is closed while authorities investigate the collision.
