    Pedestrian stuck, injured in east Charlotte: MEDIC

    CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A pedestrian was injured Saturday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle, according to the Mecklenburg EMS Agency (MEDIC).

    The incident happened around 2:20 p.m. on September 7 on Eastway Drive near Dunlavin Way.

    MEDIC says one person with serious injuries was taken to a hospital. Authorities have not said what led up to the incident.

    The crash happened just before a wreck on I-85 that left a driver and five juveniles with minor injuries.
