    CMPD: Toddler found walking alone in northeast Charlotte reunited with family

    CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Police said a toddler who was found walking alone in northeast Charlotte has been reunited with his family.

    Around 1 a.m. on Monday, CMPD officers found a 2 to 3-year-old child walking alone near the intersection of Mallard Creed Road and Baucom Road. He was wearing short sleeves and pants pajamas with green leaves and an orange tiger design on them.

    Around 8:35 a.m., police said he was reunited with his family.

    Wow, I'm so glad she was found safe. Thank you, Jesus. I was about to ask if I could get her till the family is found. If they serve time I would be glad to keep her. such a cute baby with neglectful parents

    My 3 year old slept walked a quarter of a mile down the road to a gas station in January in her night gown and barefoot, hoping this was the case here.
